What are you doing right now to maintain your sanity
and also to have the best health possible?
I know we’re going through hard times currently and there’s nothing about any of it that can be construed as fun. However, let’s think about the fact that this will soon be over and we want to get back to the world in the best shape and health we can.
Let’s think about how your day is going. If you’re spending too much time on the computer or in front of the tv, maybe you need to think about spending time away from these things. Why don’t you set an alarm to remind you to stop what you’re doing and walk away for a little while. Set it for an hour so you will remember to stop, get up, and tend to other things.
♥ Walk around your home if you don’t want to go outside or put on some music for some nice upbeat faster steps!
♥ Do some easy at home exercising to keep in shape and keep your cardio up. Here’s a great video for this just go HERE
♥ You can do some stretches or squats or dance moves – as long as you’re moving! Go HERE
♥ You can use that time to call someone you haven’t talked to in a while to make sure they’re doing okay or just to say hello.
♥ Walk in the kitchen and drink a glass of water (but nix the fridge.)
♥ Pick up that book you’ve been meaning to read.
♥ Send away for an interesting puzzle you can do at random. Go HERE
Then once you’ve been away from the computer for a while, here are some refreshing and different things you can watch.
But don’t forget to get up every 45 minutes or so to walk around and have some water!
A virtual tour of Shakepeare’s birthplace Stratford-Upon-Avon: Watch HERE
A tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art: Watch HERE
A train journey through Switzerland: Watch HERE
Listen to the people of the National Orchestra of France play “Bolero” all from their homes. Watch HERE
So if you think outside of the box, you really can escape the boredom from having to stay inside for so long. We’re hoping this will pass soon and life can resume once again! And once it does, you’ll want to face it in the best health possible!
And don’t forget to drink the Switzel that I talked about a couple of weeks ago.
Make it a habit to drink it every single morning as it’s extremely healthy and good for your system. Recipe HERE
I sincerely hope this has given you some good food for thought, and in the meantime, keep safe and be well. We will see you next week!
